It's all because of Miss L.

I have to confess - I have the most dangerous bias love towards French Women.

It all began 3 years ago when I first met this french girl, let's name her Miss L., at a fashion cocktail party. I was working as an intern for a famous production office and it happened that my boss is a friend of Miss L. 

let me try to describe her. She was 25 at that time. She does not possess the typical facial features that we all described as "beautiful". Rather, she has small eyes, thin lips,  long face with strong bone structures and a tall petite figure. What strike me most was she "knows" how to carry herself, quite perfectly. She has the most modern french twist up-do that suits her face perfectly; very simple make up with a touch of Chanel lip gloss; her clothes are classic with a modern twist (as she would describe to me). 

She carried a glass of champagne, elegantly gliding through the party (picture Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany). Every gentlemen that spoke with her were instantly charmed by her (with a strong mix of confidence and allure). You can instantly sense her energy, her charm, her beauty and her confidence are all from within. 

No make up nor any expensive clothes could fake this look. 

From then, my self discovery on what true beauty is and the allure that french women create became one of my ultimate interests. Hopefully this blog could be a platform where I can secretly share my discovery and thoughts.. and gradually build on habits to become a woman who possess such quality, too ;)

LA MENTE G7 - the ultimate home facial

I can now talk about one of my recent "investment" - I really should call it as an investment rather than a purchase because it really cost me a fortune(!) - LA MENTE G7. I called it "The ultimate home facial device". 

In Asia (and especially in Japan), the skin rejuvenation beauty device is very popular. Panasonic produced one and many other Japanese beauty brands create their own beauty devices too. The device in general provide different function(s):

1. "Ion-tophoresis" - based on the idea of creating "positive -ion" and "negative-ion" in order to attract the dirt/ left over make up chemicals deep in your skin and "pull" them out by generating "positive-ion"; while the "negative-ion" helps to inject any water-soluble serum (such as vitamin C) to your skin, to ensure your skin deeply absorb these beneficial ingredients.
2. Sonic/ ultrasound - offering 700MHz (meaning vibrating 700 times per second!) such high MHz per second imply it is ultra safe to use it on your skin. the vibration helps you to massage your skin, helps your skin to generate collagen and skin lifting.
3. Infrared - to increase blood circulation hence increase the speed of cell renewal 

The LA MENTE G7 offers ALL of the above function within one device - It might sound a little bit complicated (I did too when I first heard of it) but after trying it for the first time I could not believe how much dirt the device had helped me to cleared out - even I use Clarisonic to cleanse my face everyday! The first post

Spring is a great time to start. On a rather warm and breezy sunday afternoon, I have decided to start my very first blog. So right here, right now, I am typing! I have absolutely no idea what I should put in here nor do I have any big plan to do with this site.. 


As the french quoted, "je ne sais quoi", meaning "I dont know what". I don't know what this site will do nor how long this will last, but such ambiguity can sometimes be a wonderful thing - it creates mystery and secrets.
